Upon your arrival at Lima’s airport, Peru Ancestral Paths will welcome you. A representative will transfer you to the hotel you choose. The rest of the day is free, providing you time to relax or explore the bustling metropolis.
Peru Ancestral Paths will start your day early. We’ll transfer you from your hotel to Paracas Balneary, at 4:30 am. We’ll go on a drive to Paracas.
Here, the tour departure will be from the Paracas Turistic Marine. We’ll take a two-hour boat tour to see the wildlife of the Ballestas islands. We will see geoglyphs, the guano islands, and the unique Humboldt penguins.
Afterward, you will travel to the Huacachina Oasis. Spend two hours sandboarding the dunes. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
After returning to land, we’ll visit Paracas Boulevard. We’ll visit an artisan market where you can buy souvenirs. Before taking our private transportation to Ica.
We’ll visit a wine farm and bodega. An expert will guide you to the wine making process. You also learn about Peruvian Pisco, the national spirit. We’ll have a wine and pisco taste test.
After leaving, we will visit the Huacachina lake oasis. Literally a lake in the middle of the desert. Here you can choose if you want to travel the dunes in Buggies. We’ll also have a sandboard experience.
The last activity of the day will be in Chincha. Here we’ll go to a cultural afro-peruvian show. This is an interactive show, so prepare. We’ll stay in a hotel in Ica city.
After a hotel breakfast, we will depart early to the Nazca airdrome. Once there we’ll take the 30 minute flight over Nazca Lines. This aerial tour showcases impressive views. The flight will be full of adrenaline.
Lunch today will be on your own. Depending on how much time we take in the Nazca Lines it can be on Nazca or Ica. After which we’ll have the transfer to the Cruz del sur Bus Station for the return to Lima.
You will be picked up in Lima to spend the night in Miraflores (Lima top district).
Today we’ll start with the flight to Cusco. In the cusco Airport we’ll welcome you and take you to your chosen hotel. You will have a complementary hot beverage (coca tea).
We’ll have a Cusco city tour starting at 13:30 with a pick up from your hotel. We’ll visit the Plaza de Armas, the temple of the Sun (Korichancha), in the city center.
Then we will visit all the inca sites in the outskirts of the city. Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay. This visit will last 4 hours.
You can return to your hotel to rest or explore the city center a little more.
The tour departs early (7:00 am) for the Sacred Valley. Again with a hotel pick up. After this we’ll go on a bus ride to Chinchero.
This beautiful town will show us its colonial and baroque structures. There is also an inca site and a textile center.
The next stop will be in Moray. Moray is an archaeological site that was used as an agricultural experimental center. Near there, we’ll visit the Salineras, the Maras Salt Mines. This impressive place is of pre-inca origins, and till this day it provides salt to Peru in the world.
We’ll have a delicious buffet lunch in the town of Urubamba. The buffet will showcase traditional Peruvian food. Urubamba is also an amazing town with a lot of agricultural importance.
After lunch we’ll go to Ollantaytambo. We’ll walk across the Ollantaytambo Inca Ruins in a guided tour.
After the visit we’ll make our way to the train Station. We’ll catch the evening train to Aguas Calientes. You’ll spend the night here on Machu Picchu pueblo, in the hotel of your liking.
This is one of the main days in every Peru Tour Packages from Lima. The grant visit to Machu Picchu. Rise early for a bus ride to Machu Picchu (depending on the departure time of your ticket). The bus ride will last 35 minutes on a zig-zag path uphill.
Spend more than 2 hours exploring this iconic Inca citadel. Our guide tour will lead you to all the most remarkable places. After this you will have time for free explorations and taking photos calmly.
You can also choose to climb the Huayna Picchu Mountain. This comes with an extra charge of 75 UDS. If you want this experience, you have to book early. Tickets for Huayna Picchu are also limited due to the narrow paths.
After this we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes. There you can have lunch on your own. We’ll take the evening train to Ollantaytambo. You have to be at the station 30 minutes before your departure time.
From there, we’ll take a bus back to your hotel in Cusco. Rest well before the next day of adventure. The Peru Tour Packages from Lima haven’t finished.
This day we’ll rise up the earliest. At 4:30 will be the pick up in private transport for 2 hours to Mollepata. In Mollepata we’ll take a nutritious breakfast and then continue on the bus ride for one hour more
Soraypampa is our destination. Here we’ll start the trekking on foot to Humantay Lake. The ascent will be full of stunning views. You can appreciate the sacred mountains, Apu salkantay and Apu Humantay.
If you want you can rent a horse to aid you in the trek. The difficulty is moderate, it’s a high altitude trek but is not too long.
Your destination, Humantay Lake is one of the prettiest lakes in the continent. In the Lake itself you will witness a ceremony in honor of the sacred mountains. After which you have some time to explore further and take pictures of this pristine lake.
We’ll descend to the trailhead in Soraypampa for lunch. And after that, we’ll make our transportation back to Cusco. The group will be back at Cusco at 6:00 pm approximately.
Rest in your Cusco Hotel before the next day of adventure.
This time we’ll have to wake before 4:00 am for the hotel pick up. Again we’ll have breakfast after a couple of hours on the road in another location. We’ll travel to the start of the Rainbow Mountain trek trail.
On our way there we’ll appreciate the Surina snow-capped mountain and the Vilcanota Mountain Range. During the ascent we’ll meet llamas and alpacas from nearby farms.
After 2 hours of hiking, we will be at the summit of the famous Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain. There you’ll witness a seven-color mountain. After a guided exploration of this natural wonder, we’ll go on a 30 minute walk through the Red Valley.
We will go back to the bus station to have our lunch. Then we’ll return to Cusco from our final night there.
After breakfast our private transport will pick you up at 6:00 am after breakfast. We’ll go on a bus adventure to Puno City. This will be 8 hours with multiple stops and small excursions.
We’ll visit some of the more important places in the Cusco South Valley. The temple of Andahuaylillas or the Sixth Chapel of the Americas. The Raqchi temple (pre inca structure).
Our lunch will be in Sicuani town. The lunch will be buffet style. After lunch we’ll arrive at La Raya Pass and the museum of the Pukara site. All these visits will be guided and dynamic.
We’ll arrive at Puno by 5:00 pm. Here we’ll leave you at your chosen hotel.
Today we’ll go on a Lake Titicaca Adventure. After an early start of the day we’ll go on a 25 minute boat ride to the Uros floating islands.
Discover the allure of this curious place. Meet the locals and their lifestyle. You can also explore a totora boat.
Our next destiny will be Amantaní Island. Where the locals will welcome you. You will stay here for the night in private rooms in a local’s house.
We will enjoy a typical andean lunch. And for the evening we’ll visit the temples of Pachamama and Pachatata (Inca ceremonial sites).
After dinner. We’ll be united to a folkloric local celebration for a more personal encounter with locals.
After a traditional breakfast we’ll leave Amantaní Island. We’ll ride a boat again to Taquile Island. You will discover the traditionals textile craft here done by men. We’ll enjoy our lunch here, again it will be a traditional meal.
At 1:30 pm we’ll be returning to Puno’s shore. For the stay at night we’ll take a bus in the Puno bus Station to Arequipa at 10:00 pm.
The arrival will be early in Arequipa (4:30 am). You’ll be welcome by a representative. We’ll take you to your hotel. After breakfast we’ll start the city tour.
We’ll visit the Arequipa’s Plaza de Armas. We’ll visit the complex of La Compañia de Jesus, a baroque convent. And other churches for its artistry and history. This part is accentuated with the visit to the Arequipa Cathedral.
After this we’ll visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina. This was a convent in Peruvian colonial times. Inside the walls the place looks like a replica of some Spanish cities. The place is also a museum that showcases the lives of religious women in colonial times.
We’ll visit the Campiña. Agricultural zones inside the city itself. In the Campiña we’ll spend time in the viewpoint of Carmene Alto. From here will see the volcanoes that surround the city.
At the end of the city tour, we’ll visit the Yanahuara districts. One of the most traditional districts in the city. You’ll visit the Plaza and the famous view point. You can try the queso helado, the traditional milk and cinnamon ice cream.
After this you’ll return to the hotel. You can Use the rest of the day to explore a little more.
Breakfast will be at 7:30 am. At 8:00 am we’ll depart by bus to the zone of the National Reserve of Salina Y Aguada Blanca. You will have views of the Chachani Volcano. In the reserve near the highway you will encounter Vicuñas, the only wild camelid of Latin America.
We’ll stop at Patahuasi to observe a rock forest. We’ll reach Patapampa, the highest point in the route (4,910 m/16108 ft). From there you will appreciate the volcanos.
From there we’ll descend to Chicay Valley. In the Town of Chivay we’ll have lunch. You’ll be allocated in your hotel for the night.
After a break we’ll visit the thermal baths of Chivay. The dinner this day will be optional.
You will have breakfast in your hotel at 6:20 am. The next will be a 1 hour trip to Condor Cruz. A viewpoint to observe the andean condor in flight over the canyon. On the return to Arequipa we’ll stop at other viewpoints and towns for experience.
We’ll have lunch in Chivay and from there we’ll return to Arequipa. By 4:30 we’ll be on Arequipa ready for the transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima.
