Itinerary

Day 1Overnight Travel

Our tour will start the night before. There will be a pick up from your hotel in Lima at 9:20 pm. At 10:15 pm, our bus will depart for a 7 hour drive to Nazca. You’ll spend the night on the bus while traveling.

Day 2Nazca Lines Flight

Around  5:35 am you’ll arrive in Nazca city. You’be received by our team. Then you’ll be transported to the Maria Reiche Airdrome. 

This Airdrome was named after a female scientist. Maria Reiche studied this overlooked site. Her effort not only made the Nazca Lines famous, but helped to preserve them.

We’ll be onboard a thrilling 30 minute flight over the Nazca lines. The aircraft is a small Cessna Grand Caravan. Each plane has lines with windows sitting to appreciate the giant geoglyphs.

Enjoy a thrilling flight with an incredible view. Take pictures of the famous figures. This flight onboard a Cessna Grand, will visit the emblematic humming bird and whale. 

Other favorites in our tour are the spider, the monkey and some others. One curious one is a humanoid figure that looks like an astronaut. Probably a human in a ceremonial costume, but its presence is curious.

Our flight will take you to see 12 of the world famous Nazca Lines. This also can be a thrilling experience offering a spectacular opportunity. Learn about the history of a pre-inca civilization. 

After the flight you’ll have some free time for lunch (on your own). You have to be at our meeting point before 2:00 pm for the return to Lima.

We’ll be arriving in Lima at 9:00 pm. We will drop you in your hotel. Peru Ancestral paths will take care of more of the logistics. We, as a tour operator, hope your journey will be memorable.

This ensures clear views of the lines. Morning flights usually offer the calmest air conditions. Thus, early bookings are recommended.

Weight restrictions apply for the Nazca Lines Flight. Each passenger must inform their weight at booking. This is crucial for flight safety. It’s a short trip, pack accordingly.

Motion sickness is common due to the small plane’s movements. Taking motion sickness medication beforehand can help.
