Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Lima

Upon landing at Lima’s airport, a representative of Peru Ancestral Paths will greet us. We will then to our selected hotel in Lima, where we can settle in and prepare for the upcoming adventure. This evening, take the time to explore nearby attractions or rest up for the excitement ahead.

Day 2Ballestas Islands and Huacachina Oasis Full Day Trip Tour

We will depart early from the hotel, between 4:20 and 4:50 AM, heading to Paracas. At the Paracas Marina, we will board a speedboat to the Ballestas Islands. During the boat ride, we’ll view the enigmatic Candelabro geoglyph and learn about its history. Around the islands, we’ll see sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and other marine wildlife.

Next, we will travel to Ica, visiting the Nietto vineyard. We’ll discover the traditional wine and pisco making processes and indulge in a tasting session. Our adventure continues in the Huacachina Oasis. This is where we will experience a thrilling buggy tour and try sandboarding on the dunes.

Finally, we will visit the Racimo de Uva Winery in Chincha. This is where we will enjoy an Afro-Peruvian artistic show and participate in contests, prizes, and raffles.

We will spend the night at our selected hotel in Inca.

Day 3Nazca Lines Overflight and Return to Lima

After breakfast in Ica, we will take a short drive to the Nazca aerodrome. Here, we will embark on a 30 minutes flight over the Nazca Lines, capturing views of the ancient geoglyphs. This aerial tour offers a unique perspective on the shapes etched into the desert. This provides a thrill and a deep cultural experience.

Following the flight, depending on time and weather conditions, lunch will be in Nazca or Ica. We will then travel back to Lima, arriving in the evening and transferring to our hotel in Miraflores.

Day 4Transfer to Cusco and City Tour

We will check out from our Lima hotel and head to the airport for our flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, a representative will welcome us and transfer us to our hotel. After some rest and a traditional coca tea, we will embark on an afternoon city tour.

The tour includes visits to significant sites like the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and Santo Domingo Convent. We’ll see the Sacsayhuaman fortress, Qenqo ceremonial center, Puca-Pucara watchtower, and Tambomachay water temple. This tour is not only a walk through the streets of Cusco but a journey back in time.

Day 5Super Sacred Valley Tour with Connection to Aguas Calientes

We will start our day early from Cusco, departing between 6:00 and 7:00 AM. Our first destination will be the picturesque village of Chinchero, built on the foundations of an Inca temple. Here, we’ll admire the church’s colonial paintings and golden Baroque altar. We will explore Inca agricultural terraces and visit local textile workshops.

Next, we head to Moray to see the unique concentric agricultural terraces, an ancient Incan laboratory. Our journey continues to the Salineras de Maras, where we’ll learn about traditional salt extraction methods. After exploring, we’ll enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, tasting Peru’s finest maize and seasonal fruits.

The day concludes with a tour of Ollantaytambo’s archaeological site.

This day finishes with a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. We will spend the night here.

Day 6Explore Machu Picchu and Return to Cusco

After breakfast, we will take a 35-minute bus ride to the legendary city of Machu Picchu. Our guided tour will cover the Main Square, Circular Tower, Sacred Sun Dial. You’ll visit the royal quarters, and Temple of the Three Windows for over two hours. You will then have free time to explore more, perhaps hike to the Sun Gate or Inca Bridge.

Please note that the Huayna Picchu hike has an additional cost of $75.00.

After our descend you will be able to enjoy lunch in one of the Aguas Calientes’ restaurants.

In the afternoon, we’ll return by train to Ollantaytambo and transfer back to Cusco. You need to be 30 minutes early in the train station. We will reminisce about the day’s incredible experiences.

Day 7Tour of the 7 Colors Mountain and Red Valley Full Day

Our day begins at 4:00 AM with a pickup from your hotel. We’ll drive for 2 hours to our breakfast spot, then continue for another hour to the trailhead. The hike to the 7 Colors Mountain (Vinicunca) takes approximately 2 hours.

On our ascent, we’ll see the Surina snowcapped mountain and the Vilcanota Mountain Range. We will walk alongside native wildlife like llamas and alpacas.

After reaching the summit and enjoying the vibrant colors, we will take a 30-minute walk to the Red Valley. Is an inspiring and breathtaking landscape. We’ll return to the bus, head back for lunch, and finally return to Cusco around 5:00 PM.
