Tour Details

Take the chance of experiencing a breathtaking journey. Our Choquequirao Trek Peru spans 4 days and 3 nights of full adventure. This Choquequirao Peru Trek will challenge your limits.

Your trek begins at the Apurimac Canyon’s edge, where the mighty Apurimac River carves its path. The trail will lead you to the mystical Choquequirao city. This inca site  hidden in the jungle, rivals Machu Picchu.

Along the way, witness stunning vistas of the Apurimac valley. This is also a high altitude trek. As a tour operator, we recommend this trek as one of the best in the Cusco Region.

Some find a lot more in this trek than in the Inca trail. That is subjective of course. A trek to Machu Picchu is its own experience.

But the Choquequirao hike also has a lot of merits. It’s a well regarded destination in South America.

The trek will make you ascend and descend through mountain passes and lush rainforest. Enjoy unspoiled nature . Your reward is a panorama that stretches across ancient Inca territories.

At night, we’ll camp under the stars. At day, we will hike in solitude through the Peruvian jungle. Immerse in the cradle of gold (translation of Choquequirao)

The final leg of your Peru Trek arrives in the ruins of Choquequirao. Explore the pictoric, llama terraces. This is the perfect opportunity to appreciate the best of the Inca ruins.

Choose Peru Ancestral Paths for your guided tour. We ensure unforgettable moments, from high mountains to the depths of Apurimac Canyon. Prepare your sleeping bag, your hiking boots; adventure awaits! This Choquequirao Peru trek will be amazing.
