Itinerary

Day 1Machu Picchu 1 Day Hike

Our regular day tours to Machu Picchu day tour depart earthly. With the pick up from the hotel in Cusco at 3:00 am. But you can request arrangements for a later departure for your confort.  

This Machu Picchu day trip from Cusco, regularly starts with transport. Our private transportation we’ll go to Ollantaytambo town. 

Here in the train station we’ll catch the morning train to Machu Picchu. The train ride will take a couple of hours. In the Aguas Calientes Station, our guide will be waiting for you.

Our expert tour guide will give you the necessary instructions before heading to the bus station. The ascent to the citadel of Machu Picchu will be by bus (35 minutes). The road from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu zig zags on the mountain side. 

The landscape is impressive from the first moment. The ascent is quite scenic. Once on the entrance to Machu picchu, Our guide will lead the way to all the wonders inside the sacred city.

The visit to Machu Picchu in the guided tour will include the circular tower, the main square and the sundial. In each, the guide will give you all the insights. These are only a few of the locations to visit. The tour will last more than 2 hours.

After the tour is over you will have time for solo exploration. Take the opportunity to take pictures or maybe visit other locations like the Sun gate (Inti Punku). 

Finally, we’ll take the return bus to Aguas Calientes. Here you’ll have lunch (not included). 

In the evening, we’ll board the train to Ollantaytambo. In Ollantaytambo we’ll board a bus back to cusco. The Machu Picchu day trip ends with a transfer to your hotel by our staff.
