Tour Details

Peru Ancestral Paths, your trusted tour operator, takes you on an epic adventure. Join us on a 6-day Ausangate trek to Rainbow Mountain. This extensive journey promises stunning landscapes and unforgettable views.

Our expert tour guides will lead you from Cusco to the breathtaking vistas of Ausangate Mountain. But that is not it! You will also reach the Rainbow Mountain hike. One of the most popular excursions in the Cusco Region.

You will encounter colorful high altitude lakes. Take photos of impressive mountain ranges. Discover small andean villages with ancient traditions.

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Cusco region. Conclude this remarkable adventure by exploring deeply the Vinicunca Rainbow mountain. The Red Valley will open in front of your eyes. This unique itinerary gives you more time to engage than the regular day trip from Cusco.

We highly recommend preparing for altitude sickness. Drink coca tea, offered by our caring team. And get ready for the Ausangate Rainbow Mountain Trek.

This is a hard 6 days hike. We highly recommend having travel insurance. Just in case. We want you to feel safe.

The rainy season is from October to March. This is the low season for this trek. But consider that this time is infamous for unpredictable rain and less vibrant colors in Vinicunca. Of course the fields are greener and flowers are visible.

The dry season is the most popular option. But this means crowds, especially in the Vinicunca part of the trek. But the colors of Vinicunca are in their best state.

Don’t miss this Ausangate Trek to Rainbow Mountain. Book this epic experience with Peru Ancestral Paths. This will be an amazing journey through Ausangate Trek to Rainbow Mountain Peru Tour.
