RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICIES:

These are the terms and conditions that will apply to your reservation.
The Peruvian system of services and products is sometimes different from that of its country of origin. We suggest that you read the following carefully:
To make your reservation, it is mandatory to send a legible copy of your passport that is VALID for more than 6 months (as of your trip).
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Before making any trip, we recommend that each passenger take out travel insurance that can cover unfortunate circumstances such as: accidents, medical emergencies, loss of money and/or luggage and/or expenses that include transfers of family members due to hospitalization and to protect you from trip cancellation and personal responsibilities.
PAYMENT POLICY:
To make a reservation, the company requires payment of 30 or 50% of the total cost of the tour or program by the client, using our authorized payment methods ( Western Union or Bank Transfers ), the remaining balance of your tour must be paid in cash or card on the first day of your arrival in the city of Cusco, in American dollars to the staff who assist you. In order to confirm the reservation, you will need a legible copy of your passport that is VALID for more than 6 months (as of your trip). Full Name, Passport Number, Nationality, Date of Birth, Sex. It is recommended to report allergies, illnesses, passenger conditions, characteristics of each passenger, food preferences, etc. Once the prepayment has been made, our sales agent will send you an email with the confirmation of the reservation of the tourist package chosen by the client and their service contract, said email is a guarantee document for your reservation, after the client receives The confirmation must verify the content of the email and detailed service contract and respond to it. If your reservation includes nights of accommodation, the confirmation of the hotels is subject to availability of spaces. If there are no spaces in the hotel specified in the confirmation email, the client will be given another one of a similar category and price. The company reserves the right to accept last-minute reservations ( 24 hours before the client’s arrival at the destination ), in this case the company will expressly indicate the special conditions of said reservation, which will include, if applicable, special schedules, These conditions must be mutually agreed with the client and will be evidenced by email.
If final payment is not made, Peru Ancestral Paths reserves the right to cancel the tour without prior notice.
REFUNDS:
No refund or refund will be granted for NO-SHOW on the traveler’s tour or cancellation during the trip. There are no refunds or refunds for unused portions of tour packages or stays.
In the case of cancellation of tourist packages that include hotel service, entrance to Machupicchu, entrance to the Inca Trail, bus and/or trains already issued, no refund or refund will be granted for these services. This is because the services are reserved and paid for at the time the reservation is made, hence the required deposit is non-refundable.
The entrance tickets to Machupichhu, Inca Trail, bus and/or trains already issued are in your name and cannot be transferred to another person under any circumstances. Changing the date is also not possible once the permit has been purchased. Permits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS:
Within the execution of the program, events may occur that are beyond our control, and that may affect the development of the activity. Peru Ancestral Paths reserves the right to modify and even cancel the tour, always thinking about the integrity and safety of our clients.
Peru Ancestral Paths does not assume responsibility for events beyond our control such as: government measures, civil unrest, epidemics, states of emergency, delays due to adverse weather conditions, damage to means of access that prevent transportation, unforeseen temporary closures of sites. archaeological or any other act or incident beyond the control of Peru Ancestral Paths or our suppliers.
NOTE: SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING INCA TRAIL BOOKING CANCELLATIONS:
Advance payments for the different treks that include the Inca Trail 4 days/3 nights, the Inca Trail 2 days/1 night, the Inca Trail 5 days/4 nights, Salkantay and the Inca Trail 7 days/6 nights. The costs of these walks are non-refundable, and include entrance tickets to the Inca Trail, porters, cooks and train tickets. This is because the services are reserved and paid for at the time the reservation is made, hence the required deposit is non-refundable.
AGENCY RESPONSIBILITY:
PERU ANCESTRAL PAHS organizes all its services, such as accommodation and transportation on behalf of its clients or travelers. As such, if there are accidents, damages, losses or any other type of interference by the client or for reasons over which the company has no control Peru Ancestral Paths will not be responsible.
PERU ANCESTRAL PATHS undertakes to provide services according to the traveler’s request in accordance with the requirements established in Art. 28 of the regulations of the general Tourism Law No. 29408.
PERU ANCESTRAL PATHS will not be responsible or assume any obligation for accidents, damages, illnesses, conflictive attitudes towards their peers that may arise during the trip. The client assuming all extra expenses caused by this situation.
PERU ANCESTRAL PATHS is not responsible for any type of medical illness, pregnancy or physical impairments that may put your health at risk. We are also not responsible for any claims or refunds arising due to the reasons mentioned above.
LOSS OF BELONGINGS:
The traveler will be solely responsible for the custody of his or her luggage and travel documents.
PERU ANCESTRAL PATHS , may guide the passenger in the event of loss of their luggage or travel documents, however, under no circumstances will it be responsible for the loss, damage, deterioration or loss of said elements.
DATA PROTECTION POLICIES:
PERU ANCESTRAL PATHS declares that it has a firm commitment to the protection, security and privacy of users. The personal information it collects about its clients is used for the purchase, sale or confirmation of the reservations you request.
The personal information you register on our website is available in a secure system and is not available to the public.
